The energies of an electron in the first and sixth energy level can be compared as

E 1 /E 2 =   (n 2 /n 1 ) 2

=> 42 eV/ E 2 = (6 / 1) 2 => 42 eV / E 2 = 36

=> E 2 = (42/36) eV = 1.16 eV

The answer does not match any of the given options. I hope it helps.
