Orbital angular momentum is given by the formula given below:

for a ‘p’ electron, l = 1, hence you can now find out the answer by putting the values.

To calculate the angular momentum of an electron, use the Bohr’s formula which is given by mvr.

Where,

m = mass of an electron,

v = velocity of an electron,

r = radius of the nth orbit.

Another formula for calculation of angular momentum is nh/2 π.

Where,

n = Principal quantum number

h = Planck’s constant
