Solution : The total expenditure of all articles = 3600 Expenditure incurred on article P = $70^\circ$ = $\frac{70^\circ}{360^\circ}\times3600=700$ Expenditure incurred on article Q = $120^\circ$ = $\frac{120^\circ}{360^\circ}\times3600=1200$ $\therefore$ Average $=\frac{\text{P+Q}}{2}=\frac{\text{700+1200}}{2}=\frac{\text{1900}}{2}=950$ Hence, the correct answer is 950.
