The relationship between the focal length, f, and the radius of curvature, R, of a spherical mirror is represented by :

f = R / 2

In the given problem, the radius of curvature, R, is stated to be 150 cm.

Thus, the focal length, f = 150 cm / 2 = 75 cm.

Thus, the focal length of the concave mirror is 75 centimeters.

A concave mirror is a curved mirror with a surface that curves inward. It has several applications, like:

Reflecting telescopes: To collect and focus light from distant objects.
Headlights
Makeup mirrors
Dental mirrors
The focal length of a concave mirror is positive. Positive focal length indicates convergence, that is, parallel rays of light converge to a focus through it.

Focal length of concave mirror is the distance between pole and the focus of concave mirror and radius of curvature of concave mirror is actually twice of the focal length.

Radius of curvature,R = 2× focal length

So, focal length,f = 150÷ 2= 75

So focal length is 75.
