NEET exam as it is the only entrance test for students who wish to take admission to medical colleges. There is no other entrance examination conducted by Private Medical Colleges or universities. NEET exam has become a mandatory entrance examination to get MBBS admissions to all the medical institutions. NEET exam is important because it is the only medical entrance exam conducted in India. The prime eligibility criteria to take up NEET is majoring in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects in class 12 to appear for NEET.

The application fee for Telangana MBBS admission 2021 are:

1. General and Backward class candidates -   Rs. 3500/-
2. For SC/ST candidate  -                                     Rs. 2900/-

2022 application fee for Telangana MBBS admission are:

1. Gen/OBC  -                                  Rs. 1,500/-
2. SC/ST/PH  -                                  Rs. 800/-
3. General-EWS/ OBC-NCL* -        Rs 1400/-

The application fee for SC/ST candidates willing to take part in Telangana state counselling is INR 2900 whereas for general/OBC candidates, it is INR 3500.

The Telangana state counseling authorities have released the counselling schedule for admission into Category A seats in government as well as private Medical/Dental colleges. The last date to register is 11 January 2022. However, candidates from other states are not eligible to apply. They need to wait for the notification for registration of Category B seats.
