The college of nursing has been started in 2014 in the premises of government medical college and hospital (GMCH), Sector 32, Chandigarh. 

Distribution of seats: 

i. U.T Chandigarh Pool (85% seats) i.e. 30 seats with 25 seats of General category and 05 seats of Scheduled caste category

ii. General Pool (Other states 15% seats) i.e. 05 seats with 04 seats of General category and 01 seat of Scheduled caste category (Seats remaining vacant in any of the reserve categories shall be filled from the eligible General Category candidates in accordance with prevailing rules on this subject).
