Hello Rohan,

There is an increase in the government seats for the mbbs course. As per the various sources the no.of seats have been increased to 4500 compared to the last year. The 33 new medical colleges have been permitted to increase the seats. Most of the colleges are district hospitals converted into the collleges. You can also refer this link for the more details, www.newindianexpress.com/nation/2019/jun/11/over-4500-mbbs-seats-up-for-grabs-across-medical-colleges-in-india-1988550.html.
