UP has seen the highest cut offs in 2019 after Delhi. In 2019, under State Quota 575 marks secured a seat in Autonomous Medical College, Bahraich under General Category. That was the cut off. It was almost an increase by 95 marks from 2018. In 2018, under State Quota, 479 marks was the cut off for General Category wherein this score secured a seat in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya Medical College. This is a proof that cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. So for a seat in UP under General Category for 2020, you should aim for atleast 625 and more.

Going by the previous years' NEET cutoff students should aim to score 550+ marks in the NEET examination to get seat in government medical colleges through state quota and for admission through the All India Quota, aim should be 600+ marks in the exam and to get a seat in top medical colleges of the country through AIQ, aim for 650+ marks in the NEET exam.
For admission to government medical colleges, there are two types of seats: 15% All India Quota seats and 85% State quota seats.
