Your question lacks the mention of orientation of the blocks and hence the discrepancy in the question.

If the blocks are horizontal then,



F. = 3a



T = F - 2a



T= 1a



Therefore, T= F/3.

If the blocks are aligned vertically with the 1 kg block on top attached to a string, then

F= T - 2g

T= T1 - 1g



Therefore, T= F+2g

T1= F+3g.
