Hi Shafiya,

There are no types of a Cerebellum. Cerebellum has different different parts. It has 3 parts namely, the cerebrocerebellum, the spinocerebellum and the vestibulocerebellum.

  • Cerebrocerebellum is the largest division formed by the lateral hemispheres.
  • Spinocerebellum is comprised of the vermis and intermediate zone of the cerebellar hemispheres.
  • Vestibulocerebellum is the functional equivalent to the flocculonodular lobe.
