Hello aspirant,

TFW stands for Tution Fee Waiver. This is a scheme that has been executed by the Government for intelligent and economically backward students for admission in to universities or university departments, government colleges and self financing universities or colleges offering engineering or technology or pharmacy or architecture courses.

For availing this scheme, the total annual family Income of the student from all sources should be less than Rs. 4 lakhs (Rupees four lakhs) and it is mandatory for the student to submit the income certificate issued from either 'Mamlatdar' or 'Taluka Development Officer (TDO)' or 'Collector(Jan Seva Kendra)' while filling the admission form. No other documents are considered valid(e.g. Certificate issued from the 'Sarpanch').

Selection under this scheme is purely based on merit list only.

Hope this helps,

All the Best!!
