The fee is not at all a burden for you if you can make it to IIT. The HRD Ministry has decided to give a total fee waiver for the differently-abled, students from SC and ST community and those belonging to families with annual income less than Rs 1 lakh. Not only this, students who do not fall under this category will also be allowed to get free loans from the bank.

So if you make it to IITs fee is not the issue. DO NOT REJECT YOUR SEAT. You will find a way for a fee but you won't find IIT again.
