According to NDA male candidates who have completed their class 12 can appear for the exam. The eligibility criteria contains some of the factors like nationality, age limit, physical standard, educational qualification etc. Here's the full details of eligibility criteria for appearing the exam:

• The candidate must be a citizen of India, Nepal or Bhutan otherwise a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962.
• For NDA2020 age limit was candidates must have born not earlier than January 2, 2002, and not later than January 1, 2005.
• The eligibility criteria for The Army wing of NDA is the candidate need to be passed class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board and for The Air Force and Naval wings of NDA and 10+2 Cadet entry scheme at INA the candidate need to be passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics.
• Only unmarried male candidates can apply for the exam.
