SRM University is one of the best colleges for B.Tech in Mechatronics. The B.Tech program in Mechatronics is one of the newly introduced programs under the umbrella of the Department of Mecatronics established in the academic year 2005-06. The department, apart from the undergraduate program, is engaged in many other activities such as industrial consultancy, industrial training, research, organising seminars and conferences. The placements are also pretty good, around 6-9 Lakhs per annum.
