Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur, also known to as NIT Nagpur is a premier public engineering and research institution in India.

• The Institute considers the JEE Main score to offer admission in B.Tech and B.Arch courses.
• Admissions to M. Sc. and M.Tech programs will be through Centralized Counseling.
• Separate Entrance tests and Interviews are conducted for the candidates applying for Ph.D. courses.

For Engineering-



Admission to the B.Tech and B.Arch courses are based on the results of the candidates in JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) and the shortlisted candidates as per the JEE results are invited for the counseling round conducted at VJTI campus.



50% of the seats in the B.Tech and B.Arch courses are reserved for the students of Maharashtra.



For M.Tech-



Admission to the regular M.Tech Admissions at VNIT Nagpur is done through the online Centralized Counselling for MTech Admission (CCMT). The Application process for the M.Tech starts in May.



Only candidates with a valid GATE score can apply for M.Tech

To get admission into VNIT, you will need to take JEE Main exam. Last date for form submission for JEE is around Jan end.

Also to be eligible for JEE Main you will need at least 75% in 12th Boards or be in top 20 percentile.

They also accept AIEEE score.
