Frankly speaking, the telecom jobs are not available in abundance for freshers. You must be outstanding or really really lucky to get it from campus itself. Regarding off campus, you must showcase your skills there which you will learn by going for some certifications which will make you pay more 20K-30K for their completion. Once you are certified in any of your core subjects, you can most probably get a job but mind you the salaries will be quite low. Another thing is, you can prepare for individual tests conducted by firms like MTNL, which are really difficult to crack and will require a lot of hard and smart work, however, once you crack it, you may get a lot of benefits including a good salary

There is a good scope of telecommunication engineering.....jobs will be in telecom companies,it companies .......and payscale would be 3-4 lacs per annum......and job will be of developing software,networking related,etc...
