LLM programme is 2 sememster 1 year degree courses provided by BHU. The course shall comprise of the following:

1. Concept of Social Science Research Method- Reflective Thinking, Scientific Method and Research 2. Research Problem- Origin, Selection and Definition 3. Hypothesis- Problems of Formulation; Types and Characteristics of Hypothesis 4. Methods of Research- Experimental, Descriptive, Historical and Sociological 5 . Techniques of Research- Observation, Questionnaire, Schedule, Interview, Survey and Sampling 6. Analysis of data 7 . Report Writing 8. Modes of Citation and use of Internet materials 9. Current Trend in Legal Research- Doctrinal and non-doctrinal .
