Well, securing 20k rank in JEE ADVANCED may not be enough for getting admission into any of the IITs across India. But still your ward can give it a try at the time of counseling and it's better to apply for colleges in your own home state so that the chances of getting admission are high. You can apply for other colleges accepting JEE ADVANCED score like IISC BANGALORE, ISERs, IIST TIRUVANTHAPURAM, RGIPT, IIPE VISAKAPATNAM ,etc.
