Before starting with how to become a forensic scientist, you must know what is the job of a Forensic Scientist. For becoming a forensic scientist you must complete his 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate, then only you can apply for the 3-4 year course of B.Sc in forensic science. The course curriculum includes the subjects like Criminal Procedure and Evidence, Crime Victim Studies, Constitutional Issues in Criminal Procedures, Fingerprint Analysis, Crime Scene Investigation, and Theories of Crime Causation etc. Students with a bachelor’s degree in Forensic science hold entry-level positions like forensic science technician, crime scene investigator, or forensic pathologist with an average salary of Rs 3 – 4 lakhs per annum.
Then, you may pursue M.Sc in P.H.D. in forensic science if you wish to.
