Hey there,

well if your board aggregate percentage is less than 75%(all subjects),then you are not eligible for admission for NIT,IIT even if you get maximum rank in IIT-JEE MAINS,but don't worry if you want an NIT then give the improvement BOARD exam and prepare for MAINS  as well . you will definitely achieve .

And also but to join IIT/NIT/IIIT/;

Gen/OBC category candidates should score 75%,SC/ST should score 65%.

so, choose the better option

HOPE THIS INFORMATION HELPS YOU!

GOOD LUCK!

Hello,

As per the news the IIT authorities are reviewing their eligibility criteria of the percentage of marks needed so as to be eligible for the colleges.

But surely you can appear in the improvement exams which are provided by the respective boards if that do not happens.

Best of luck;

Dear student,

As long as your percentage is above the eligibility criteria no need to worry.Just work hard for jee and you will get admission in the preferred college.

However if you board marks don't meet the eligibility criteria then you can repeat boards and work hard to achieve a better score.

Hope this helps.
