If you have valid EWS category certificate and it is in the required format as mentioned, then it is acceptable. Make sure that it is issued by the competent authority and is issued on or after 01.01.2021. Visit here for more information:

I have filled JEE form in EWS category. My EWS certificate issued in 2020-21 and filled JEE form in 2020-21. Admission in EWS quota starts in 2021-22 i.e. after June-21. please tell me for admission i have to get fresh Ews certificate of 2021-22 or first certificate which i have will continue.
