what if someone gets category rank below 1lakh but doesnt qualify category percentile in jee mains 2021 are they eligible for jee advanced.

The expected cutoff for jeemain 2021 based on previous year analysis is:
GEN-90-95
GEN EWS-70-75
OBC-NCL-70-75
SC-50-55
ST-40-45
PWD-1-2.
There are two types of cutoff.one is qualifying cutoff which if the candidate qualifies will be eligible to give jeeadvance exam and other is admission cutoff which is cutoff for colleges.now if the candidate who gave jeemains qualifies this above mentioned percentile(the actual cutoff will be released after may session) then he or she will be eligible for writing jee advanced exam.so it doesnt matter about rank if its below 1 lakh or not.all you have to qualify is the cutoff.if you dont clear the cutoff you wont be eligble to give jeeadvanced exam.
