Hence agronomy is the one that deals with how the crop is grown what conditions are required for its cultivation etc. For instance Wheat is the most consumed cereal crop in the world. Agronomy provides the knowledge about the time of sowing, the seed rate, the variety suited for an area, fertiliser rate, pest disease management, etc.
