This college is affliated to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences and Ayush University of Chattisgarh. It has 150 for now for MBBS before adding seats to accomodate EWS reservation. Dr. B. R Ambedkar which has 700 beds is the teaching hospital. And as a feather on its cap, this is the only Medical College that offers tertiary level medical and duper speciality services approximately to 2 crore population of Chattisgarh.
