The application number you need is given in the application form filled for JEE exam.  When we fill application form we are provided with application number. That is the one you require.

the application number which you are required to provide in order to get your admit card is mentioned in the application form of JEE mains , when you had filled the application form of JEE mains then you would be given a application number that you need to provide in the admit card tab.
