After completing your 4 year B.tech degree you can persure M.tech/M.E (the masters in your feild) either from India or from International university. For doing it from India you have to give GATE examination while in order to do it from other countries you have to clear GRE exam.

You can also persue management course and get into management sector. For that you have do M.BA and for that you need to clear CAT exam.

For Higher studies you should prepare for GATE exam which is conducted every year syllabus of which is The things you cover in 4years.
Or you can do MBA for which you have to study for CAT
You can also do your MS from foreign country like USA for which you can prepare for GMAT and GRE
So there is no better choice all are good choices
