The word CA stands for chartered accountant and the CAs are usually involved in the management related and account handling firms and work as the account managers and for big industries and firms. They also provide assistance for filing the tax returns and advise their clients to maximise their profits. hope this helps.

Hello Kairavi

CA is Chartered Accountancy course, one of the toughest and highest level accountancy post graduate course. Institute of Chartered Accountant of India, a government organization undertake this course and there is no college for this course. You have to register yourself as a student with ICAI and then only you pursue the course.

CA do many kind of work. People think CA only do accounting or relate it to tax expert. CA is into field of accountancy, auditing, taxation, Information Technology, merger and acquisition, credit analyst, governance, etc etc. There are many more fields in which CA has their exposure.

I hope this helps you. Good luck!!
