Transfer from Bpharma to Btech happens but it is very rare so please dont count on that . Generally it may happen if you have a CGPA of 9.5+ in first year .

Not official - Median salary 4-5 lakhs. The Highest salary changes and is usually in non-pharma companies (finance, IT and consulting etc) ranges from 7 to 13 I guess. Most of the guys who are actually serious head off to MBA/Pharmacy grad school in the states.

BITS + non engineering degree makes you a good candidate for MBA, and pharmacy/medicine in general is pretty lucrative in the US.

Scope of Bpharm is fair enough and has splendid opportunities into Pharma and FMCG sector. You cannot switch to Btech after Bpharm you would rather have to start from scratch viz first year to do so.
