What is DCI, BCI, MCI and NCTE!??

Hello,

These are all statutory bodies that regulates respective education and profession.

DCI is an abbreviation for Dental council of India. They set standards to maintain dental education in India. They regulate the curriculum in the training of dentists and the level of examinations and qualifications.

MCI is an abbreviation for Medical council of India.MCI is a statutory body that regulates high standards of medical education in India. The approve medical colleges, gives accreditation to medical colleges and universities, Issue registration certificate to practice medicine etc.

BCI is an abbreviation for Bar Council of India. It regulates the legal practice and legal education in India. It set standards for legal education  and exercises disciplinary jurisdiction and grants recognition to universities or law schools.

NCTE is an abbreviation for National Council for Teacher Education. NCTE supervises  development of the teacher education system in India and set standards and norms to maintain proper teacher education system in India.
