Hello Manish,There are so many differences between Private and Government Medical Colleges:

Private Medical colleges are expensive while the Government Medical Colleges are cheaper than Private Medical Colleges with a low fee structure.

The Patient Load in Govt. Colleges are much higher when compared to Private colleges where in residency youll see a higher number of patients.

Even the kind of patients who come in large numbers in Govt. Colleges are quite different from those coming to Private Colleges. Govt. Medical colleges have many poor people coming for treatment

Hostels in private colleges are fairly new and provide good service, on the other hand there is nothing much to say about the government colleges hostel and mess.

The faculty in the best private colleges are top notch, several times better than their competitors in Government colleges. However some private colleges have no faculty at all. Whereas, the government college faculty is bitter-sweet with good and bad apples.

Standard of study depends on the standard of college, since there are good private colleges like KMC manipal also and not so good govt college also.
Hope it helps

Money is a major difference between in both. Government medical colleges are free of cost or with minimal fees. On the other hand, education in a private medical college is very expensive in terms of the fees. Government medical colleges serve as an opportunity for the students with a not so good financial background to pursue this very expensive course medical studies. It also depends on college to college whether it is Government or private.

A Government college is obviously a better option for a student.  No matter how good services the colleges provide, all that the comparisons come to an end when the students themselves work hard. When you have decided to do what it takes to be successful, it will not matter whether you are studying in a government college or a private college.

Good Luck!
