Hello Vamshi
Main difference between Jee main and jee advanced is that Jee advanced exam level is much more difficult than jee main. Other differences in study are
•most of questions asked in JEE main are based on application formulas. Whereas in jee advanced , most of questions are derivation based.
•Two or more concepts are generally intermixed in the questions asked in JEE advanced. If you go through the previous year's paper of JEE Advanced, the questions are framed in such a way that candidates need to apply two or more concepts to solve. This increases the difficulty level of exam.
•As per syllabus , most of topics in both exams are common, but topics related to practical in physics and chemistry are included in the Jee advanced syllabus. So if you are preparing for the these exams then you must thoroughly study the practicals of CBSE class xi and xii.
