Hello Aspirant,
The EWS is the new category introduced by JEE Authorities this year for the first time. The abbreviation means Economically Weaker Sections. CRL means common rank list. The CRL is generally referred as rank according to general category whereas General-EWS is a type of category rank in JEE Examination. EWS is a new category that is introduced in many examinations from this year only.
I hope it helps you !

Hello Rishab Jain,

Ews-Economically Weaker Section in India is a subcategory of people belonging to the General Category having an annual family income less than ₹8 lakhs and who do not belong to any reserved category such as SC/ST/OBC.

Crl- it is common rank list which is applicable to everyone
