As the name suggest General Aptitude of Enginnering  is an online examination conducted across the country to test the candidates in various undergraduate subjects of Engineering, Technology or Architecture, and post graduate subjects of Science. This exam is a gateway for the students to secure admission in post graduate programs like M.Tech, M.E, M.S, direct PhD, etc. in higher education institutions that are centrally funded.

GATE 2020 Exam will be conducted from 2nd Feb(Most probably) to 10th February 2020. The Admit card of the GATE 2020 Exam will be available for download from December 3rd week or Jan 1st week. This year there will be 23 papers in online GATE computer based test. This Exam will lead to admission in Post graduate programmes such as MTech, ME, PhD. in premier institutes such as IIT, IISc, NIT and other institutes which accept GATE Scores.

GATE 2020 will be conducted by IIT Delhi. You can also join various PSU's with your GATE score.
