Its great if you are from either of the CSE, IT or ECE branches.  Great here doesn’t mean very huge packages. But yes, the percentage of placement is really high. If you are opting for the core branches in this college, be prepared to do a great lot of hard work, because there’s hardly any placement. But, you need not be disappointed at this point at all. Graduates from this college have really made it to PSUs and the central and the state engineering services, and that too in large numbers. Placements are good. on an average it is 3-4 lakhs and with good skills and experience it can go upto 7-8 lakhs.

I think i have answered it for someone already sometime back, but again last time as you requested three from me!

CS and IT are the two branches which are blessed to have some placements on campus.

I will just stick to CS/IT for my answer.

Total students: 60 odd in each

Total eligible: 50 odd from each

Eligibilty depends mostly on companies, some allow backs, some dont, some have focus on grades and so on hence a lumpsome value i have given above.

Off the 50 odd, by 3rd yr 40 odd get into GATE or CAT preps thus having advantage on either quant and apti OR Core subjects.

Now to topic of companies. Recently quite a few good companies have visited including Amazon India, Adobe, Aurigo, etc

These compaies hire the best brains and those are generally quite good in :

Analytical abilityReasoningCore subjects like DAAOne programming language(the more the better)

So, of the 50 odd if you have 3/4 above qualities you can make to real good ones offering 78 LPA. Otherwise you always have TCS and Wipro to get into!!

So back to figures,

Product based brands are visiting for very few posts(<5) and offer 78 LPA. Avg selection 04.Consultancy based take a lot of people. If you are somewhat decent you qualify for them. Avg pay 3.26 LPA. Avg people selected  60 odd.Off campus and pools also take place so you can try there too. Same avg package of 34 LPA is offered.

As per trend from past three years since Dr Manish has taken over as TPO off the 50 odd eligible 3040 get placed, which is quite decent.

As i highlighted earlier, many qualify for GATE and CAT. If you count that also then mostly all walk away with something. If someone gets left you can always try off campus and succeed.
