Dear student,

Once the results of jee mains and jee advanced are out, a counselling named josaa is conducted to admit studenta based on their ranks in iit/nit/gfti/iiit. The students that cracked jee mains only are eligible for admission in nit/iiit/gfti while the ones that cracked jee advanced also are eligible for admission in iit's also. Josaa has 7 rounds in it, the candidates have to fill their choices out of the available choices and once the result is declared of the particular round the candidate has to decide whether to choose the seat or wait for other rounds. There are two more rounds of csab counselling conducted after josaa for vacant seats.

Hello,

Jossa means joint seat allocation authority. Its established by ministry of education. The joint seat allocation authority conducted the counselling process for candidates who have qualified JEE Mains examination or JEE advanced examination. This is the JOSSA counselling.

All the best.
