You need to score the minimum qualifying cut off percentile in JEE Main. In 2020 the qualifying cut off percentile was 90.3765335 for general category. This year it is expected to be in between 90-95 percentile. So you need to score above 90 percentile in JEE Main. You also need to secure the cut off rank set by the institute, each institute has different cut off rank and it changes every year. Analyzing the previous year cut off for IIITs you need to score minimum 96 percentile in JEE Main to score such percentile you need to aim to score minimum 190-210 marks or above in JEE Main. Cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of exam and number of seats available etc.
