hi Anjum,

  • Newton itself is an SI unit of force.
  • It is named after Isaac Newton.
  • 1 newton is equal to the force that will give an acceleration of 1metre/(second^2) when it is applied on a body of 1 kg mass.

Earth's gravity is 9.8 m/(sec^2). So an object of 1 kg weight, produces a force of 9.8 Newtons.

I hope this answer will help.
All the best for the future!!

Hey,

Newton is the SI unit of force which is,

f=mg

which is a force of 1 newton is applied to a body of mass 1 kilogram produces an acceleration of 1 meter per second^2.

1 newton is also equal to 1,00,000 dynes in CGS system.

Newton itself is a SI unit and it does not have any SI unit.

I hope this helps.

All the best!

Hello,

Newton is the international system of units that is the SI unit for Force. Newton it self is the Si unit so it does not have any SI unit. For example force acting on a body is 100 newton or in symbolic form 100 N. Newton is the SI unit for force system.

Hello,

Newton is itself a unit.

The newton ( N ) is the International System of Units derived unit of force. It is named after Isaac Newton in recognition of his work.

1 Newton = 1 kg⋅m⋅s −2

Best Wishes.
