what is opening and closing rank in Jee main example if kese branch ka O.R - 3000 and C.R - 5000 hai agar mera rank 2000 hai to kya mujhe seat melega.

Dear Aspirant,

Opening rank is the rank from which seats can be given and closing rank is the rank till which seat is given.

No you might not get the seat in this range but it means you will get it in the starting round or in above colleges/branches.

For example. If you can see a college/branch with 3000-5000 rank range it means there's another college/branch which accepting under 2000 rank,So don't worry..
