Dairy Technologist has a wide scope. This industry will never run out of jobs and opportunities, plus you always have an option to go for higher studies if you are not interested in a job after B.Tech. But as is the case of all other B.tech degrees, where you do it from always matters.

The disciplines that are offered at the PG level for graduates in dairy technology include dairy microbiology, dairy chemistry, dairy technology, dairy engineering, animal biochemistry, animal biotechnology, animal genetics and breeding, livestock production and management, animal nutrition, animal physiology, dairy economics and dairy extension education.

You can pursue jobs in the below fields:

Dairy plant supervisor

Dairy plant manager

Purchase manager

Quality control officer

Though average package varies based on where you get placed but initially you can expect a salary of approx 15k monthly.

Hope this helps.

Good luck!
