The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) examination to recruit Group C (Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) staff in various ministries and departments of the Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Limit:

  • 18 to 25 years for most MTS positions.

  • 18 to 27 years for Havaldar positions in the Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC) and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

  • Age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.

• Educational Qualification:

  Recommended

  • Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th class) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
