National Institute of Science education and Research is a national level entrance exam conducted once a year. 

The eligibility criteria for NISER is  Candidates must have atleast 60% marks in 12th class examination. For SC/ST/ PWD candidates the qualifying mark is 55%. Age Limit is the students must be born on or after August 1,1999.

NEST Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Age Limit

• Candidates who apply must be born on or after August 1999. The age limit for SC/ST candidates will be relaxed upto 5 years.

• Candidates belonging to the reserved category need to submit their reservation eligibility certificates only during the admission counselling process.
