Dear Aspirant,
It depends upon how good your basics are. If you have decent basics then 6 months period is enough. However, if you do not have a good and clear base then you might be needed some more than that.
For engineers, it is considered that 6 months period is enough. Try to get your basics clear in the first two months and then join a good mock series in the month of August. Give your mocks consistently and analyze them.
