Hi Aspirant

I'm listing few career options after BAMS:

1. Can go for MD you'll get to have teaching opportunities.

2. You can get few opportunities from Allopathic hospitals and can work as duty doctor and can gain knowledge of Allopathic medicine

3. Can open your own clinic.

4. Similar to MBA, you can go for MPH ie Master in public health.

5. Clinical Research is always an option.

6. Can start your own Ayurvedic medicine preparation.

7. Can join in any college as medical professor.

Hope this information helps you

Good luck :)

Hello
There are several related courses such as pharmaceutical management, clinical research, clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical medicine and regulatory affairs, hospital administration etc. at the Postgraduate and PhD level, that you could look into.

However, make sure this decision is in sync with your career aspirations and interests. It may therefore be a good idea to take the decision after completing your internship.

You may well decide to explore research options in Ayurveda that involves data retrieval, data management, clinical research, report writing, graphics and digitizing ancient manuscripts.

Alternatively, you could opt for short term courses like Social & Preventive Medicine, Modern Anatomy, Principles of Medicine, Physiology, ENT, Forensic Medicine, Public Health Administration, etc. Increasingly, pharma companies are manufacturing Ayurvedic medicines and formulations which are fast gaining popularity. More and more health spas and panchakarma centres are coming up to cater to Indians as well as tourists, especially foreigners. In fact, the government has positioned India as a healthcare and fitness destination.
Hope it helps
