For undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate programmes, admissions are available at Armed Forces Medical College in Pune. Admissions to the AFMC Pune M.B.B.S. programme are determined on a candidate's NEET-UG performance. Next, the candidates need to show up for the M.B.B.S. counselling procedure at AFMC. For admission to M.D., M.S., or P.G.D. at AFMC Pune, the candidate must have valid NEET-PG results; in contrast, admission to M.Ch. and D.M. requires valid NEET-SS scores.

To be admitted to the MBBS programme at AFMC, candidates must have completed their 10+2 with 60% in PCB. NEET PG is the basis for admission to PG programmes at AFMC, including MD and MS. Candidates for PG courses must have completed a one-year internship in addition to their MBBS degree. The institutes recognize NEET SS scores for admission to the DM and M.Ch programmes.
