The K J Somaiya's cut off figures are indicative of a good performance, which can enable the candidate to secure a seat.The cutoff figures for Common Admission Test is 85 + percentile and it has also started accepting XAT scores too for the first time this year, whose cut off is expected to be around 90+ percentile itself. For CMAT it is assumed to be 95+ percentile.

The SIMSR shortlists candidates on the basis of cut off determined by the CAT/CMAT/XAT scores. In the second round, the candidates are assessed on Case Analysis, Personal Interaction, Presentation, Interview, Work Experience, Academics, Outstanding Achievements and Statement of Purpose. Those with sports/academic/creative talent are given additional marks. The K. J. Somaiya cutoff percentile to qualify for the second stage varies from year to year. There is no sectional cut off as part of the K J Somaiya's cut off score

Cut Off for cat in IIM colleges is 70 percentile.

for FMS,Delhi- 98 percentile

MDI, Gurgaon- 94 percentile

IMI,New Delhi- 90 Percentile

MICA,Ahmedabad- 80 percentile
