Hello Anushka!

JEE or Joint Entrance Exam and NEET or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test are both all India level examinations for science students.

JEE mandatorily requires the subject combination of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at (10+2) level while to be eligible for NEET, you must have qualified your Senior Secondary board exams with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

JEE scores are accepted all over India to get admission in engineering colleges for B.E./ B.Tech. and other related degrees. On the other hand, for getting admission in medical colleges to pursue MBBS/BHMS/BAMS/BDS degrees etc., NEET is the single gateway.

All these include the basic differences between the two exams.

Feel free to ask if you have any more queries.
I hope this answer will be helpful to you.

Hi

The main difference between neet and JEE examination is:-

NEET is the national level entrance exams to get into medical college for courses like MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BHMS etc.

Whereas,
your JEE i.e  Joint Entrance Examination  is a national level exam to get into engineering colleges for Btech etc.

Some other difference between JEE and NEET are provided below:-

  • In JEE examination , Physics, chemistry and Mathematics are asked whereas In NEET examination , Physics, chemistry and Biology are asked
  • There are two levels, i.e JEE mains and JEE advance, but NEET is a single level entrance exam
  • JEE mains is conducted twice a year whereas NEET is conducted only once in a year

So both NEET and JEE examination are totally different from each other

Thankyou
