MBA stands for Master in Business Administration, and PGDM stands for Post Graduate Diploma in Management. While an MBA is a degree course, PGDM is a diploma course. Thus, an MBA can only be studied in colleges under certain universities. On the other hand, PGDM can be studied in independent colleges also. But ultimately, they are both courses in management for post-graduation.
