Don't confuse between "automation" & "automotive"

Both of branches have nearly same syllabus about 80%.

MAE (Mechanical & Automation engineering) is focused towords future. When there'll shortage of workers in factories or in order to reduce cost & time of manufacturing, robots will replace workers. All that is automation. Even some of factories are completely automated. If you've ever seen the manufacturing of iPhone or intel processors with robots you can understand.

ME (Mechanical Engineering) converges towards concepts of working of machines. They've slightly stronger basics concepts than MAE students.
