NEET 2025: College Predictor | Cutoff | Marks vs Rank
Latest: Allied and Health Sciences- Best Courses, Colleges & Career Options
New: Paramedical Universities Accepting Applications | Emversity Allied Health Sciences Programs
Hello Mausami,
Through NEET exams you can get admission to BDS and MBBS programs across India in numerous government and private colleges. While in case of AIIMS, through this exam you can get entry into some autonomous colleges that do not accept NEET scores (eg: AIIMS JIPMER). The MCI is not involved in the AIIMS exams.
Both NEET and AIIMS are tough exams but AIIMS is known to be tougher. NEET repeats its questions which is not very common in AIIMS making it much more difficult to crack.
Looking at it roughly, NEET is much more convenient. NEET is easier to crack than AIIMS. Since a lot of colleges accept NEET you can get admission more easily compared to AIIMS which is accepted by only a few colleges. NEET also has a higher success rate than AIIMS.
However, in the end it depends on the Institute you want to study in. There is no specific benefits of each except for allowing students into particular colleges. So the exam you choose should be guided by the college you want to get admitted in.
Hope this helps :)
