The class duration in any undergraduate course varies from college to college depending upon the course and the credits associated with it. The total credits of your semester will be divided into weeks and accordingly each week will be assigned a stipulated amount of time. BCA students are no less. They have a lot of skills like software testing and developing . A typical BCA deals with software design and data base management. In every ug course the maximum amount of time per day of your class will be 7-8 hours . Can even be less than that  depending upon your college !

Firstly I would say that bachelors in computer application is really good course especially for Indian standards. Speaking about the class duration for your undergraduate degree, it will vary from institute to institute. Usually speaking BCA timings is really similar to engineering timings that is usually from 9 a.m. to 3 or 5 p.m. but again it will depend from institute to institute so I would advise you to call the institute itself and ask about the timings for wait till the institute releases their time table.
